Distinguished delegates and leaders of our great party, you have worked hard for the People's Democratic Party. You stood by the party in challenging times and even today, you've continued to remain faithful to the Party.

Without your efforts, our party wouldn’t be standing this strong. You've paid your dues and you need to be rewarded.
You have followers whom you mentor, those who look up to you and seek to grow under your tutelage. And in truth, they expect you to be doing better than you are currently doing. For me, these expectations for a better life for yourself and all those around you is not out of place. It is a universal principle that a worker deserves to be rewarded.
The politics of “Baboon dey Work Monkey dey Chop” shall be over.
