A leading contender for Ibadan Southeast/Northeast Federal Constituency under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon (Dr) Adejoke Adekanmbi-Akinseye has assured the people of Ibadan Southeast/Northeast federal constituency of robust representation that would ensure restoration of Ibadan Southeast/Northeast's lost glory if voted by delegates in forthcoming party primaries to emerge as the party's flag bearer for Ibadan Southeast/Northeast Federal Constituency candidate.

She promised to reposition the federal constituency and correct the imbalance it has suffered in national development if supported by delegates and goes ahead to win the main election come 2023 (which she is very confident she will win as the electorates are already out to support her en mass irrespective of party affiliations).
